Yoga

Yoga is a mental, physical, and spiritual practice that originated in India thousands of years ago. Many are familiar with the growing popularity of yoga as a physical practice. The asanas, or yoga postures, are used to help us align the spine, build physical strength and flexibility,  cultivate relaxation, reduce stress, and a host of other health benefits.  The practice of Yoga also includes pranayama (breath cultivation exercises), meditation, chanting, and spiritual self-study. 

 

This ancient spiritual science offers a direct means of stilling the turbulence of thoughts and restlessness of body that prevent us from knowing who we really are and what we are truly capable of.  Yoga is a process of reversing the outward flow of energy and consciousness from the material world, bringing us back to our truth. As we align our physical bodies, we also bring our awareness and healing to the seven energy centers and the energetic meridians of our subtle body.

 

Private Sessions

In private sessions, you'll be guided through a customized Vinyasa sequence and will be given adjustments, modifications, and alignment cues specific to your unique needs.   Specific meridians, acupressure points and chakras may be emphasized in your sequence to further support your practice.

 

Group Classes
